In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We are working hard to keep the MWSF accessible and affordable for all.

The cost of registration for all Forum activities is sliding scale, from $15 to $45 for the whole weekend.  Children are free.  You can also register per day, sliding scale 5-$20 per day.

Lunches and dinners will be available at $5-$6 per meal (although in limited quantities--approximately 500 people per meal, so register early).

Housing in the dorms ranges from $15/night to $45/night, sliding scale, however it is no longer available through us--you most reserve through Sandburg dorms.  They will also add a $50 late registration fee. We are also encouraging homestay.

Finally, volunteers who contribute 4 hours of their time during the forum get $20 off their registration fee and five meals for free.

Translation

Translation will be available for the main plenaries. The Friday morning plenary about immigrant rights will likely be translated simultaneously with wireless headsets.

We are seeking volunteers for translation between English and Spanish for the other plenaries and workshops. Due to our limited resources, for the most part this will be informal, "over-the-shoulder" simultaneous translation. Translation equipment (with earphones and wireless receivers/transceivers) may be available for a limited number of workshops.

Physical accessiblity

The entire UWM Student Union and most of the UWM dorm rooms are wheelchair accessible. We are looking into possibilities for wheelchair transportation for the action on Sunday. Unfortunately we just found out that the site for serving meals is NOT accessilbe, but we we can arrange to get meals served elsewhere.

We are coordinating support for hearing-impaired, including wireless audio devices and potentially sign-language. Please let us know what your needs are and we will do our best to meet them.

If you have a specific request that would make the Forum more accessible for you, please let us know.
