Bloomington Media Arts Group
BMAG is a community media organization serving Indiana University and Bloomington, Indiana. We are a group of students and area residents utilizing the media arts as tools for local activism, civic engagement, and community development.
We are working to create a community media network at www.btownactive.net that: * features original content * encourages participation * serves as an open publishing platform * assembles news from local groups and media * provides arts and cultural information * advocates for media literacy and reform * promotes the media arts in community * allows for the direct participation of all * represents the diversity of local voices
