Global Exchange is a membership-based international human rights organization dedicated to promoting social, economic and environmental justice around the world. Since our founding in 1988, we have successfully increased public awareness of root causes of injustice while building international partnerships and mobilizing for change.
The Vote Justice campaign works to increase grassroots political power and deepen civic engagement at the state and local level. Through community building and popular education, we are helping to leverage pivotal reforms that can further an ever fuller realization of political power and remove institutional barriers economic, environmental and racial justice.

As a multifaceted human rights organization, Global Exchange represents a broad and diverse constituency that shares a strong passion and commitment to peace, democracy, and justice. With over 40,000 supporters and 11,000 members, our constituents range from young to old, represent the middle and working-class, and live coast-to-coast and around the world.
