Mission:

We're a group of white folks in Madison, Wisconsin trying to support communities of color in struggles for racial justice! These are our strategies for doing this work:

-- Support one another in our ongoing education, reflection and action to dismantle White Supremacy

-- Create and sustain accountable relationships with individuals and organizations that prioritize racial justice and are led by people of color

-- Take collective and individual action to dismantle white supremacy within our circles of influence

Ongoing projects/campaigns:

Self-education as a group about white supremacy and other intersecting systems of power, privilege, and oppression - such as heterosexism, classism/capitalism, the gender binary system, ableism - and ways to work for collective liberation in all these areas! Volunteering with organizations led by communities of color - such as Freedom, Inc. and Voces de la Frontera - and providing support in any way we can, such as fundraising, helping to organize logistics for events, writing op-eds to newspapers about immigrant justice, getting people to show up at actions, etc. Currently, we're planning a multi-week workshop to be aimed at white activists to look at white supremacy and white privilege and ways we can work for racial justice in all the work we do.
