Mission:

Community Connections promotes successful re-entry by bringing the community to the incarcerated through support, education and resources that provide opportunities for personal growth and healthy family relationships.

Ongoing projects/campaigns:

Our all-volunteer organization currently has 13 ongoing programs providing support and education to men at Oakhill Correctional Institution in Oregon, WI. Programs include our Family Resource Center staffed 3 times/week, documentary film discussion group, food justice lecture and discussion series, CPR certification, pre-release planning, job training, children's visiting room activities, and Read to Me book project where men read books on videotape to important children in their lives.
